QAVIRAE — OUR PEARLS

OUR PEARLS

No two pearls are ever alike.

Formed slowly by nature, shaped by time and movement.

2. Natural Variation

NEVER PERFECTLY REPEATED

Beauty is never perfectly repeated.

No two pearls share exactly the same shape, surface, or reflection of light.

Subtle variations are a natural part of each pearl’s formation. They are not details to be corrected, but marks of time, movement, and becoming.

This natural variation makes every QAVIRAE piece distinct.

3. How We Select

CHOSEN FOR CHARACTER

At QAVIRAE, we do not look for pearls that appear perfectly identical.

We select each pearl for its natural character—its shape, luster, proportion, texture, and the way it works with the design.

Some are softly rounded.
Some lean gently to one side.
Some carry visible ridges or organic contours.

What matters is not uniformity, but presence.

4. Pearl Shapes

SHAPES FORMED BY NATURE

Pearls are described by their overall form, but no pearl follows a perfect template.

Near-Round

Rounded, with subtle natural variation.

Oval

Gently elongated and softly balanced.

Drop

Elongated with a natural sense of direction.

Button

Softly flattened, with a close-to-the-body presence.

Baroque

Irregular and sculptural, never exactly repeated.

Coin

Broad and flattened, with visible natural texture.

5. What to Expect

YOUR PEARL WILL BE YOUR OWN

Because every pearl is naturally formed, the piece you receive will not be exactly identical to the pearl shown in the photograph.

Subtle variations in shape, texture, surface, and luster are to be expected.

We carefully select each pearl within the intended size, quality, and design character of the piece.

Your pearl will belong to the same design—
but its natural details will be uniquely its own.

6. Natural Character

MARKS OF BECOMING

Pearls may carry small ridges, subtle dimples, uneven contours, or variations in surface texture.

These marks are part of how the pearl was formed.

Beauty is never perfectly repeated.

7. Luster and Light

SHAPED BY LIGHT

A pearl’s beauty comes from the way light moves softly across and within its surface.

Depending on the pearl, the reflection may appear bright, diffused, warm, silvery, or softly iridescent.

This quiet relationship with light is part of what gives every pearl its individual presence.

8. Pearl Care

CARE FOR WHAT YOU CARRY

Pearls are natural and delicate. Thoughtful care will help preserve their luster and surface over time.

  • Apply perfume, lotion, and cosmetics before putting on your jewelry.
  • Avoid direct contact with household chemicals and cleaning products.
  • Remove pearl jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping.
  • After wearing, gently wipe the pearl with a clean, soft cloth.
  • Store each piece separately to prevent scratching or friction.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
  • Do not use ultrasonic or abrasive jewelry cleaners on pearls.

Care Note

Pearls are meant to be worn, but they should be handled gently.
